Practice Philosophy
During my plastic surgery residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, I learned to appreciate the importance of maintaining the highest level of technical skills, innovation and ethical standards to care for patients undergoing plastic surgery. In my practice here in western Maryland, I have come to appreciate the natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere of the Appalachian Mountains . At Allegany Plastic Surgery, I like to think that we have the best of both worlds: state-of-the-art plastic surgical services in a warm, small town atmosphere.

Welcome to Allegany Plastic Surgery
Dr. Robert J. Carpenter sees patients from all parts of Maryland, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. He has been in plastic surgery practice since 1995 and is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He received his undergraduate degree from William and Mary and his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He served a residency of general surgery at University of Rochester School of Medicine and a plastic surgery residency at John Hopkins Medical Institutions. Dr. Carpenter is affiliated with American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the John Staige Davis Plastic Surgery Society. |
